Question for numismatic gurus

Im going to go with the proof because its only 4 dollars more, But do you (whomever wishes to answer) think that this proof will rise in the secondary numismatic market and is worth buying?

Thanks

It wieghs less than an oz and is 90% silver so 39.95 seems quite high priced.

I watch the Home Shoping chanel, (never bought anything) when they have the coin collecter segment. Can't say when it is on but see it on Sundays often.

Anyway, to the point. Couple weeks ago they were selling this coin. These were claimed to be first strike issue and since they won't be released to the general public untill next month, maybe they are. These coins were graded by PGSC as MS-69 and MS-70. The MS-70 they were selling for $249.00 ea as I remember and the MS-69s were selling for $179.00. $10.00 shipping.

If you bought some you would want them graded. I think that runs $30-35 each.

They will have great apeal to current and former Marines.

I doubt they will be worth much more to the general public than you paid for them. IMO.

As a memento for a former Marine, Priceless.

Good luck.

Ms

Thanks a bunch
